Videos I Love #3: C.N. Blue's "Drive"

Oh how I'm loving these boys even more every day!

On January 15th C.N. Blue made an apperance on the SBS radio show
"DongGoDongRak Radio" performing their debut single "I'm A Loner"
and suprising everyone (and me too, I LOVE this song!) with their rendition
of "Drive" by the American rock band Incubus.

The English was lacking a little here, but it doesn't even matter because
their voices were so awesome!

For anyone who doesn't remember the song, here is the original MV

Picture of the Day #24: C.N. Blue Is Blowing Everyone Away

Indie Pop/Rock band C.N. Blue debuted yesterday and already they're
taking the KPop world by storm, giving fellow rookies MBLAQ and Beast
some major competition.

They released the MV for their first single "I'm A Loner" on the 14th
and within 24 hours it was #1 on the MNet Charts and #2 on the
Hanteo Charts.

The group also had their first showcase and will debut on "Music Bank"
this weekend. I for one am VERY happy they're doing so well. Their album
"Blue Tory"; which is out right now; is awesome, so go pick it up right
now and support them!

Picture of the Day #23: Aww Joonie, Don't Cry!

In Idol Army season 5, MBLAQ's ace Lee Joon falls into a trap of a hidden
camera which made him cry.

MBLAQ did a parody of the drama "Queen Seon Deok", the concept was to
complete missions given to them (while doing the parody).

This filming was a hidden camera set up for Lee Joon to fall into the trick
he wouldn't have expected.

While completing the missions, like hitting some special hard gourd
with the head, and shooting arrows using the feet and etc, Lee Joon went
through all the difficulties without a single word of complain.

However, it all started when he received cold comments from the
members he trusted. Whenever they failed at the mission they would find
fault at Lee Joon, making the atmosphere very cold.
To bottle up his feelings, Lee Joon would keep going to the back of the stage
alone and just stare blankly at the script.

Eventually, leader Seunho made comments like "That's not the way to do it"
making Joon really upset. In the very cold atmosphere, Lee Joon
barely had to straighten out his feelings and continue with the filming.

Finally when the members revealed that it was a hidden camera, like a girl
Joon's tears came rolling down as he lie above Thunder's knee.

Maybe I'm weird but I actually like him more now that he cried
it was very endearing to me. Also I think he did amazing parodying Mi Shil
and was it just me or did he look hot in his costume? What do you think?

They were my very first KPop artist/group and I really hope they come back soon. They are so talented and it's a shame SM let them fall through the cracks. Here is the very first KPop song I ever heard "Boomerang" by CSJH and a little video of them sing A cappella.

2009 MBC Gayo Daejun: My Top 10

You know you have too many award shows when the last award show is a rehash of every music show throughout the year with a few special performances mixed in to make it a little interesting. That is exactly what the MBC Gayo Daejun unfortunately did.

It was really hard to find ten performances I actually liked that were different from what they normally did on the music shows, but I think I came up with a pretty good list.

Top Ten
1. After School & SDB-When I Grow Up: Gahee and Bekah are my 2 fav members now!
2. 2PM & SNSD Stage: Very cute stage
3. SG Wannabe & MIJI: Oh their voices were amazing!
4. Baek Ji Young & Lee Seung Gi-My Ear Candy: I was shocked by this and I love LSG More after this performance (not that I didn't like him before).
5. Brown Eyed Girls Stage
6. 2PM Stage: I wish I loved this one more, but the other two were so much better
7. SNSD Stage
8. SHINee Stage: LOVE this remix of RDD; love Kara's dresses
9. Kara Stage: I hope the one cheerleader is ok, it looked like she hit her head hard!
10. Davichi-8282

Honorable Mentions
F(X)-La Cha Ta: love the remix ver.!
MC Mong-Indian Boy
Kim Tae Woo & SNSD’s Seohyun-Love Rain
