Picture of the Day #28: The Return of Jaebeom?

Lots of rumors have come out over the last few days on

whether or not 2PM Leader Jaebeom would return to

Korea and to 2PM.

A supposed press conference on the 24th, a secret music video

and the decision to start his hollywood career have all been

thrown out there only to be quickly dismissed by JYPE.

An associate of JYPE stated through an interview with

Money Today on the 21st, “We do not have any plans on releasing

information about Jaebeom’s current course of action or

the company’s official stance.”

Other associates of JYPE also stated, “We have yet to hear anything

regarding the company’s official announcement regarding Jaebeom.”

Back in September 2009, Jaebeom decided to take a break from 2PM

after Anti-Korean comments he made on his myspace were made public.

This began months of debates against netizens and Hottests

(2PM's Fanclub), with Hottests supporting their beloved leader

with many flash mobs around the world, skywriters flown over his

house in Seattle and millions of post-its stuck to the walls of the

JYPE building in efforts to bring Jaebeom back to Korea.

KPop fans and especially Hottests are becoming more nervous by the

day as 2PM's next album is slated for an April release and at this point

it's unclear whether or not Jaebeom will be participating in the making

of the album.

Picture of the Day #27: SNSD Says "Oh!"

The girls are back!

News about SNSD's second album came out and it's

making everyone say "Oh!", which happens to be

the name of the title track.

The album is set to drop on the 28th of this month with

a comeback on MBC Music Core on the 30th.

They'll have some stiff competiton over the next

couple of months with a lot of old and new faces coming

back with new albums.

The First Ever KPop Youtube Collaboration Channel: Rules and Requirements!

Needed:
-7 outgoing and energetic people, one for each day of the week
-2 alternates that are able to make videos very quickly (within 24 hours of being notified)
-Applicants MUST be over 17. I’m going by the honor system, but if I find out you’re under 16, you’ll be cut immediately.
-Need to be able to give me at least 24 hours notice if not able to make a video (unless it’s an emergency)
-Deadline: February 5, 2010 at 11:59PM EST

-Send all videos via a link in a PM to my youtube page, nlovewiththerain312

Requirements:
1. Make a video of your opinions on 2-4 Kpop news stories of the day or one Kpop topic (i.e.-banning of Kpop videos, kpop trending topics, bloody letters, etc.)
2. Video must include the following information:
-Name
-Email (please put this information in your PM to me and NOT in the video)
-Age (please put this information in your PM to me and NOT in the video)
-What day you want to be on
-Favorite Kpop artist(s)
-How did you get into Kpop
3. Must be a minimum of 2 minutes and no more than 10 minutes long
4. Kpop stories only for the time being, may change later.
5. Can be a video of yourself or audio with videos and pictures mixed in. Have fun with it and be creative.
6. Must have MSN or Yahoo. This is if you need to contact me quickly about not being able to do your video or on the rare occasion we have a meeting about the channel (only in emergency situations).
7. Upload the video to youtube and send me a link in a youtube PM. Only use youtube to upload your video as I want to see if you’re able to upload and use youtube. Since this is a youtube collab channel, I can’t accept any videos uploaded on any other video site.
8. Preferably in English, but if you would like to speak in the language you’re most comfortable with you need to have you’re videos either hardsubbed or youtube annotations with the English subs in them.
9. If you’re using videos from KBS, SBS or MBC in your video please do not put the name of the video or the station in the tags section as this is how they find their videos when they search for them.
10. Must have some type of video editing program such as windows movie maker or imovie. If you can go the whole length of your video without having too many pauses then that’s fine but if you can’t, please edit your videos.

Rules:
1. NO bashing whatsoever! I’ll be VERY strict on this rule. If you are accepted and bash anyone in your videos, your video will be taken down and you will be cut immediately and without warning. I don’t mind constructive criticism but there is a fine line between constructive criticism and downright bashing. If you’re unsure, feel free to email me the video and I’ll check the video without fear of being removed.
2. VERY minimal bad language (a damn or ass here and there is fine, but use sparingly).
3. If possible, please credit all videos and pictures at the end of your video.

Picture of the Day #26: The Time Is Upon Us

Over the last few days, teasers for 2AM's new song (set

to be released on Jan 21st) have slowly appeared exciting

fans everywhere.

Aside from a new look, the big question plaguing fans is whether

the song will be another slow song or is 2AM branching out

to with a dance track?

The first teaser had a guy in the shadows (apparently one of

the 2AM members) dancing, yet the next two teasers with

2AM members Seulong and Jinwoon are of them singing a

slow song.

Then just a few hours ago an audio sample was released with

"To Her" being the title of the track and featuring 2PM

member Chansung rapping.

Either way, I think the one thing that all fans can agree on is

that the song will be hot and I wish thursday would get

here faster.

Picture of the Day #25: So Wait...HyunA Can't Watch Her Own MV??

But honestly, was anyone really shocked by this? No Seriously?

On January 14th, HyunA's first solo MV for her single "Change" was

slapped with the dreaded (could be coveted on how you look at it)

"19+ age audience" label.

“After deliberation, the music video has been deemed too sexual,

so it will only be viewable for a 19+ age audience,” a Cube Entertainment

rep revealed.

And...you didn't realize this when you were making the video?? Epic Fail.
